Historic exhibition of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory at the Augarten Porcelain Museum Vienna.
With this thought greeted Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the Ambassador of Hungary to Austria the historic exhibition of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory at the Augarten Porcelain Museum Vienna.
In 2013 the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory, one of Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactories was invited to exhibit a selection of its most outstanding porcelain at Herend; in 2014 Augarten is hosting an exhibition of historical porcelain from the world’s largest porcelain manufactory, with an emphasis on items from the nineteenth century.
The exhibition includes exclusively historical Herend Porcelain items; most of them are connected to Vienna. In addition to the famous Wales, Franz Joseph and Gödöllő services, there are also two very rarely seen ornamental plates on display depicting the view of Schönbrunn and Vienna.
The exhibition of great interest can be viewed until 17th May inside the historical walls.
