Herend Porcelain Manufactory has opened a special exhibition for its 190th anniversary in Transylvania at Haáz Rezső Museum.
Long ago had no exhibition available for public like this, both in terms of the number of the selected items and their value. Herend Porcelain Manufactory honored the scene and exhibited special historical pieces.
The exhibition has been viewed already by hundreds of people at the opening ceremony. The invited guests were greeted by Dr. Zoltán Miklós director of Haáz Rezső Museum and Árpád Gálfi Mayor of Transylvania
The "Elegance, Hungarikum: Herend" exhibition is under the patronage of Dr. László Kövér, President of the Hungarian National Assembly. The patron's speech was translated by Dr. Zsigmond Barna Pál General Consul of Hungary in Miercurea Ciuc. The exhibition was opened by Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory.
János Tóth opera singer performance made the opening ceremony even more valuable. His father was a designer in Herend, therefore comes the special Herend connection.
The opening ceremony was really intimate and heart-warming to have a Hungarian presence in the heart of Transylvania. The exhibition is available for the public until 5th March.
