Eight gladiators are going to fight on the World Chess Festival in Budapest on 8 October.
Olympic champion, Olympic silver medalist, World Championship Challenger, former World Champion Grandmaster will participate in Budapest at the International Chess Gala in October.
The World Chess Festival organized by Judit Polgar Chess Foundation will be held in The Castle Garden Bazaar.
The tenth edition of the festival aims to showcase the 1000 faces of chess. To be a day when all the world chess lovers share the unique experience of chess.
One of the highlights of the event will certainly be the Highlander Gala, where eight world star chess players are going to fight for the $ 15,000 grand prize!
Hungary will be represented by the Olymic silver medalist Zoltán Almási, so as Hoang Thanh Trang who is going to compete in Hungarian colours. The adventurous amateurs will have a chance to play simultaneous games with Judit Polgar and Zsófi Polgar.
Herend Manufactory is among the key supporters of the Gala. The winners of The Highlander Chess Tournament and Chess Business are going to receive a wonderful Trophy by Herend.
