A Herend Porcelain exhibition was opened by the Ambassador of Japan to Hungary at the Botanical Garden (Füvészkert) of Budapest.
Smell of spring flowers, blossoming cherry trees and fine weather welcomed the guests at the Botanical Garden (Füvészkert) of Budapest when a Herend Porcelain exhibition was opened by the Ambassador of Japan to Hungary. The event was organized as part of the Sakura festival.
The exhibition includes near 200 items exclusively painted with flower patterns. There are on display a number of rarely seen specialties, among others a series depicting America’s wildflowers and a uniquely painted limited tete-a-tete service with beautiful orchids. Herend’s spring bouquet can be viewed until 17th April on the 1st floor of the castle of Füvészkert. On weekends several interesting programs are organized for visitors within the framework of the Sakura festival.
