Carriage Driving World Cup again with Herend Trophies

The FEI Carriage Driving World Cup, counting as the Formula 1 of equestrian sports, is a major sports event every year in the horse racing world, so the Trophies were supplied not by chance by Herend again this year!

The best carriage drivers compete against each other in different venues. From November 29th to December 1st, in addition to the World Cup races in Budapest, the world premiere of the equestrian show “Golden Horse” was presented to spectators.

In an extremely tight race, Ijsbrand Chardon, the legendary figure of the sport, won the Horses Four-in-Hand race of the Carriage Driving World Cup series at Papp László Sports Arena on Sunday, followed by his son Bram Chardon and József Dobrovitz.

There were also held show jumping competitions at Papp László Sports Arena. At the most prestigious Grand Prix, four athletes could complete the course, complicated with 1.45 m hurdles, flawlessly and within time limit. Finally, the Austrian Peter Englbrecht triumphed.

The winners of the Budapest World Cup races could lift Herend Trophies again this year.
