An exhibition of the “King of Porcelain” was ceremonially opened in the “Queen of Cities”.
Dr. Miklós Boros, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Czech Republic, and Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd., opened with their speeches a grand exhibition of Herend on September 3 in the cellar gallery of the Hungarian Institute in Prague.
The exhibition, which can be visited until the end of September during the opening hours of the Institute, was not accidentally titled Heritage of the Future. The theme of the exhibition focuses on the duality of tradition and innovation, presenting the evolution of a pattern or form from the beginning to the present day. This is complemented by a gorgeous table laid according to the same concept and some highlighted bravura pieces.
Herend Porcelain has reached with this exhibition one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, a top tourist destination, promoting the Hungaricum and the European Cultural Heritage.
Speakers welcomed the creation of the exhibition and expressed their hope that the “royal meeting” would attract many visitors.
