Arnold Nagy, Temerin’s rider won the finals at the 11th Hungarian National Gallop on Sunday evening at Heroes’ Square, Budapest and was the proud recipient of the prestigious Herend Trophy.
The winner overcame riders from Rózsaszentmárton, Pogány, Füzér and Zirc on the unique race course created around the Millenium Monument. Thanks to the traditions and many years of fruitful cooperation, the winner had the chance to claim the Herend equestrian statue of the rider eyeing his blade as the Trophy of victory.
During the series of competitions hosted over the course of two days, 72 riders from Hungary and beyond the borders of the country faced up to the challenges of the qualifying and semi-final races.
