The luxury porcelain items of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory were presented for the first time at the exhibition “Design Shanghai”.
The exhibition “Design Shanghai”, which was held in June this year, is one of Asia’s largest and leading international trade fairs, building excellently on Shanghai’s unique artistic and diverse geographical cultures. The exhibition held in the homeland of porcelain featured nearly 400 exhibitors from 30 countries from all fields of art.
The Herend stand was visited by thousands. Visitors appreciated the handmade works of art of the world-leading Herend Porcelain Manufactory. In addition to the classic, well-known Herend patterns, the Manufactory’s innovative products were also on display, such as the renewed Victoria pattern made for the British royal family on the occasion of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, or the countless new animal figurines painted with scaly patterns. In addition to high media interest, the stand was visited by many influencers. The stand of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory was one of the most visited and most elegant stands at the fair, built with the image elements expected by the Company in order to guarantee the uniform appearance of the Herend brand.
The Herend stand was also visited by the Consul of Hungary in Shanghai. Thanks to the success, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory’s Shanghai trading partner, Longjune Porcelain Shanghai Ltd., plans to open a new Herend porcelain brand store in the JinGuang department store this year, which could be another significant milestone for the appearance of Herend porcelain in the Asian region. After opening Herend porcelain brand stores in Abu Dhabi and Kazakhstan this year, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory intends to further expand its export activities on the Asian market by opening another monobrand Herend porcelain store in Shanghai.
