After the opening of the Abu Dhabi store, a new Herend porcelain store was opened at the Intercontinental Hotel in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Herend Porcelain Manufactory pays special attention to the countries of the region. Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd., emphasizes that Herend porcelain can be well integrated into the interior design and table culture of the countries of the region, the people living there are receptive to the beauty and values of Herend porcelain and they are open to learning about handmade Herend porcelain. The product development innovation of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory is significant; about 300-400 new works of art are made at the company every year, so it tries to best meet the tastes of the region, including Kazakh customers, with its unique products.
As a result of the partnership agreement between the Kazakh AMINA and the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, a new Herend store was opened in March 2021 and its opening event was titled Herend Spring, thus referring to the renewal. The invitation to the opening event was accepted by Mr. Ferenc Blaumann, Consul General of Hungary in Kazakhstan and among the prominent guests was Mrs. Botayeva Balym Jumabayevna, President of the Association of Businesswomen of Kazakhstan.
The newly opened store offers about 1,000 pieces of Herend porcelain from the huge product range of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, especially a wide selection of Victoria, Rothschild and Vienna Rose patterns, as well as naturalistic Herend figurines, but also limited edition tea sets. They would also like to address the Herend small sculpture collectors, so special red deer figurines are also presented. The Herend Porcelain Manufactory has trade relations with more than 50 countries around the world and is now also present on the Kazakh market.
