Porcelain Constellation

Historical European porcelain manufactories are presented in the temporary exhibition space of the Herend Porcelain Museum, which never can be seen together.

The centuries-old workshops present not only museal works, but also contemporary, modern pieces, providing a cross-section of European porcelain-making traditions and trends.

Historical trends in European porcelain art

The European porcelain, different from any others in it’s material, born in the 18th century, has conquered not only the old continent, but has reached the New World, as it’s original homeland, China as well. Herend Porcelain Manufactory now hosts the leaders of famous European porcelain manufactories, and review the still valid porcelain industrial trends within an exciting round table discussion.
