Kossuth Radio’s live broadcast from Herend

Kossuth Radio’s (Hungary’s national radio station 1) Országjáró (Country tour) program, which has already been broadcast from more than 350 locations in 5 years, visited Herend on January 13, 2024, as part of a full-day program, presenting the behind-the-scenes secrets of the production of Herend porcelain, recognized in Hungary and worldwide.
“16,000 different forms, 4,000 patterns, a total of nearly 64 million unique works of art. For centuries, it has been the decoration of royal courts, imperial palaces, and the residences of rulers and state leaders. As a Hungaricum, it is a supporter of Hungarian diplomatic relations. An adventure in the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, founded nearly 200 years ago, where tradition and innovation meet in artistic creations.”
