To mark the 200th anniversary of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) has issued an anniversary Herend souvenir sheet titled "Herend 200".

Speakers at the event included Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd.; Dr. Péter Mikecz, Chief Marketing Communications Officer of Magyar Posta Zrt.; and László Leitold, Vice President of Society for Hungarian Philately.

 

The anniversary souvenir sheet pays tribute to Herend’s 200-year heritage while looking toward the future, featuring a contemporary, reimagined version of the world-famous Victoria pattern. This distinctive motif aptly symbolizes the Herend Porcelain Manufactory’s credo "Tradition – Innovation", where centuries-old craftsmanship meets renewal.
