Herend porcelain hearts and Herend prizes at 201st Anna Ball

2026. July 10.

Herend Porcelain Manufactory will once again be a key player in the Anna Ball in Balatonfüred in 2026.

Dr. Attila Simon, CEO, highlighted that for the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, the Anna Ball is not only a prestigious social event, but also a celebration of Hungarian cultural heritage and outstanding craft traditions. He emphasized that the cooperation between Herend and the Anna Ball symbolizes the meeting of Hungarian values year after year, where world-famous porcelain art is worthily connected to one of the oldest and most well-known balls in the country.

In 2026, every lady attending the ball will receive a bronze-metallic Herend porcelain heart as a souvenir, while the belle of the ball and the two runners up will receive individually made Herend porcelain prizes in the Victoria, Rothschild and Apponyi patterns. These creations praise the work of the Manufactory’s masters every year and further strengthen the special traditions of the Anna Ball.

Herend Porcelain Manufactory also contributes to the porcelain culture of the event: guests can enjoy the ball’s festive dishes from Herend tableware, while the porcelain hearts and the vases made for the winners are among the most important symbols of the evening. The Kiss Ernő Prize made of Herend porcelain will also be presented at the Anna Ball.

Dr. István Bóka, Mayor of Balatonfüred, gave a welcome speech at the press conference, followed by Róbert Foki, Creative Director of the Anna Ball, and Laura Windisch, Belle of the 199th Anna Ball.

The 201st Anna Ball will once again be a celebration of Hungarian traditions, cultural heritage and artisanal excellence, and the Herend Porcelain Manufactory will contribute to the event’s prestige and timeless values as a key player.
