President of Inter-Parliamentary Union visits Herend

Dr. Tulia Ackson, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, visited the Herend Porcelain Manufactory.
At the meeting, Mrs. President presented the goals and operation of the international organization she leads, and Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of Herend Porcelain Manufactory, spoke about Herend’s global leadership position in the porcelain industry, presenting the process of artisan porcelain making. The visit contributed to building a positive country image of Hungary. The meeting ended with lunch served on Herend tableware painted with Indian Basket pattern.
