Herend Trophies on Hungaroring’s podium

Herend Trophies on Hungaroring’s podium

2023. July 24.

The Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix has been held at the Hungaroring for the 38th time without interruption since 1986! The best of the drivers and the best constructor received special Herend vases and an ornamental plate, respectively, uniquely designed and made every year.

Formula 1 is the world’s largest, most popular, and most professional speed car race, followed by tens of millions on television every week, and its stars are incredibly popular worldwide.

In addition to the glorious victory, it was worth fighting on the asphalt track for crafts masterpieces representing Hungaricums, Hungary’s national treasures. This time, Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) won the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, thanks to which Red Bull Racing broke the record for the longest winning streak. Lando Norris (McLaren) crossed the finish line in second place, while Sergio Pérez (Red Bull Racing) finished third. The constructor’s plate was thus won by the Red Bull Racing Honda team. The victory was overshadowed by a regrettable event, as the trophy of the winner was broken during the celebration, but beyond our immeasurable regret, as part of Hungary’s image, we will remake the Trophy, so that Verstappen will not be without an intact, unique Herend Trophy!

Congratulations!
