Cultural meeting of European porcelain manufactories

A special exhibition entitled “Porcelain Constellation” opened its doors at the Herend Porcelain Museum.

You can witness a historical event, as the collections of Europe’s most famous manufactories with a long history, the host Herend porcelain, Meissen, Augarten from Vienna, Fürstenberg, and PorzellanIkon are presented at the same time in one place.

Tibor Navracsics, Minister of Regional Development, called the exhibition a “meeting of excellence” at the opening ceremony.

Alíz Markovits, CEO of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Ltd., emphasized that one of the main goals of the European Capital of Culture program is to put the region on the cultural map of Europe, and the world-famous Herend Porcelain Manufactory is an excellent partner in this.

On behalf of Herend, CEO Attila Simon highlighted that European manufactories have the same industrial historical roots, and although they have taken different paths of development, they still share a common set of values. They are all characterized by expertise, the ability to innovate, and elegance.

The exhibition can be visited from October 5 to December 15, 2023.
